Our Team

I started working at David White Services when I was 3 years old, pretending to do office work and following my dad around our warehouse when he took inventory. Now my favorite thing about my job is knowing that we are part of such amazing communities and continuing all the amazing relationships we’ve formed over the past decades. My husband and three daughters are my joy and I love playing together both at home and at Disney World.

Cara was born in Gettysburg, PA and was just 2 years old when her family moved to Nelsonville, Oh. Many of her childhood memories are of being with her family as they helped their neighbors with their homes around southeastern Ohio.

Perhaps because my background is in education, helping people learn about heating and cooling and the options and solutions that are available to them is my favorite part of my job. Originally from Ironton I spent many happy hours on the Ohio River but my true passion is music and reading. There are so many life lessons to be learned from history and literature. Along with my books, I need music. Both playing and listening to music are daily necessities for me. What is life, otherwise? One of my most treasured possessions is my wife’s great grandfather’s violin.

I have always loved construction projects and new challenges. I love learning and then applying that knowledge to help our techs figure out difficult problems in your homes. Art has always been my favorite subject and if I have a pen and paper nearby, I’m always drawing and doodling. When I have free time I love spending time, especially traveling, with my family.

My favorite thing about working at David White Services is the people. I love the satisfaction of working as a team and having happy customers. Working here is the difference between “having a job” and being a professional. Music has always been a huge part of my life. Guitar, bass, mandolin I love them all but my most treasured possession is my bible because it has the answers to all of life’s questions.

I joined David White Services as a technician in 2015. Prior to this I spent many years as a technician for AT&T. Just like phones are critical to people’s lives, so is heating and cooling. I find enjoyment in helping people with devices and machines that make their everyday life better. When I’m not working you can find me working with plants and landscaping as I find joy in getting my hands dirty.

My biggest passions are my family and reading which means I understand how important comfortable, cozy spaces are in homes. My specialty at David White Services is installing gas fireplaces which become the centerpieces of warmth and beauty in our customer’s homes. It brings me joy to know that they have a heat source that adds value to their home and life.

I love helping people be more comfortable and I love working for a company where the owners have good character and try as hard as possible to always do the right thing. I loved working with electronics in school and figuring out how to repair them. These days I love watching my grandkids grow and gardening. And rocking out to my Bose sound system.

I began working at David White Services in Gallipolis and over the past two decades have had almost every job there. This has allowed me to learn almost all aspects of our business and to meet the nicest people. I’ve always loved working with my hands and my favorite subject in school was electronic repair. In my free time I work with wood and use my finish carpentry skills and tools. But more than anything, I love my family and spending all the time I can with them.

My father was a machinist at Athens’ Mold and Machine. I followed in his footsteps and have always loved machines and moving parts. I love interacting everyday with our customers and getting to know them and over the course of the last 5 years my fellow employees have become my friends. My family farm has been in my family since the 1700’s and ties me to history. I love learning about the people behind the facts and dates of history.

I love meeting new people everyday which is why I love working at David White Services. I love challenging myself both at work and in my free time. Rock climbing, music, and photography help me stay creative look at the world from different angles. My family is my most treasured possession as without them, nothing else would matter.
